In honor of my brand new nephew, Noah, (born on my birthday this past May!), I am going to share a story about his Grandmother, Beth.
Beth passed away suddenly in February 2016. Her last Christmas was spent with me, my husband, my brother, Kevin, (Beth is his mother-in-law), my brothers wife, Laura, my father, my uncle and his girlfriend who flew in from California. We spent the day at my fathers house eating Christmas dinner and later exchanging gifts. I got Beth something small, two cat toys for her beloved cats. She was thrilled! My brother told me she had a wonderful Christmas and loved the gift and she would send a thank you note soon. Unfortunately, she passed away before she had the opportunity to write it.
A day or so after I heard the sad news of her passing, my husband and I were on a walk. If you read my blog regularly you’ll know God shows me signs while I’m in nature, especially on walks. As we were passing a coffee shop, outside on the patio floor, a business card caught my eye. It simply said, “Thank You.” I immediately smiled and knew it was from Beth. I wish I picked it up or took a picture, but it served it’s purpose, Beth was tying up loose ends.
