When Angels are Near Feathers Appear

One way angels communicate to us is through feathers. I started discovering feathers after my Mom found her first feather. She was home, minding her own business, in and out of the same room multiple times throughout the day. Then, on one particular trip back into her bedroom, she found a green feather on her nightstand with no logical explanation. Her Siamese cat, Rooka, was very ill and believes it was a sign from the angels comforting her. It didn’t come from a pillow, a blanket, decorations etc. She has no feathers in her house. That’s when we discovered angels communicate with us through leaving feathers. It’s a way to let us know that they are near, we are loved, and we are not alone. Have you heard of the expression, “when angels are near feathers appear?”

After my Mom woke me up to the possibility of communicating to angels, I started receiving feathers too! I have found over 80 feathers from various places. I find them mostly at home, but I’ve found quite a few at work, in stores, and even in hotel rooms! I find mostly white fluffy feathers.

Feathers I’ve found throughout the years,

On February 21, I found a white feather, below, while cleaning my husband’s bathroom. I texted my husband and asked if he knew the feather was there (he’s found feathers before and I didn’t want to claim one that wasn’t mine!). He told me he had no idea it was there.

On January 18, I found this pretty brown and white feather on the floor in my home.

I know the feathers are from angels because they appear in the most unusual locations. They appear out of the blue and have no reason to be there. For example, I found this feather (right) on the sofa at my favorite jewelry store. I was sitting waiting for customer service to help me and I look down and there’s this feather out of nowhere! There were no feather pillows, down coats or any other reason for it to appear other than from an angel letting me know they were there.

Whenever, I find a feather, I first make sure there was no logical explanation for it to be there. I check my surroundings and make sure there are no pillows, blankets, jackets, decorations etc. where it could have come from. Once I determine it couldn’t have come from a logical place, I pick it up, smile and say “thank you angels!” I keep my feathers in a box that my Grandmother Pat gave to my mom many years ago.

Big green feather I found in my dining room, Jan. 6, 2017

When I originally wrote the draft of this post (before I found the feather in my husband’s bathroom), the most recent feather I found was this big green feather. I was walking around my home tidying up. I passed the kitchen table a few times while I was putting things away. But on one certain pass, I looked down and saw what I thought was a leaf. I thought my husband or I tracked it in on our shoes. As I got closer, I saw it was a green feather! This is the largest feather and only green feather I have ever found! There was no reason to have this in my home, other than the angels leaving it for me and saying “hello!” I have no decorations with feathers, no cat toys with feathers (my kittens aren’t trustworthy enough to have feather toys to play with!). I immediately thought this was from Archangel Raphael, the angel of healing. I call upon him almost daily to help me, and to heal friends and family. Archangel Raphael is also associated with the color green. If you ever need a sort of healing, emotionally, spiritually, physically, call upon Archangel Raphael to help! He like all angels are omnipresent, meaning, he can be at multiple places, helping multiple people at the same time.

I put the green feather in my headband, it’s so big!

Going forward, every time I find a feather, I will post a picture and the background of where I found it.

Have you ever found feathers of other signs from above?

Angels are God's Messengers. They are always with us and increase in numbers when times are tough. I started finding feathers in the most odd places with no rational explanations of where they came from. I found my first -- a green on e -- in December, 2012 when my beloved Siamese Rooka was diagnosed with terminal colon cancer. I have been finding them ever since and have quite a collection, too. Little white odd-shaped feathers that bring a smile to my face. Thank you, Angels, for the unexpected gift of comfort and hope!Reply

These past 2 years my job has been a real challenge. Recently even more so. Yesterday while driving to work I was talking to my guardian angel, asking for guidance and help to just get through the day. I also asked for a sign, then gave thanks. I was walking in, I looked down and there was a tiny feather. I was aware that someone was walking behind me, so I couldn't stop to pick it up. It was one of the doctors I work with and he was right on my heels. I chuckled at the thought of explaining why I stopped to pick up this very small feather. If I had, he certainly would have tumbled over me. It made me smile.Reply

I think the angels definitely leave signs when and where you need them. I think this feather served it's purpose and you noticed it even though you didn't have a chance to pick it up and keep it. I've had the same instances where I've seen a feather and couldn't pick it up because someone was right behind me as you described or I'd look like a weirdo picking up a random feather. Sometimes I don't care and just do it!Reply
